#SolutionADay Campaign Aims to Celebrate Sustainability Progress

Effectively communicating sustainability must go beyond a dire series of predictions — it's about sharing real-world evidence of the economic, social and environmental challenges faced daily on our planet and the solutions for those challenges.In honor of Earth Day and the remarkable progress being made toward a myriad sustainability solutions, the Walton Sustainability Solutions Initiatives at Arizona State University has launched a "Solution A Day" social media campaign, in the spirit of the Initiatives’ mission to engage a broad audience to celebrate those solutions.

In honor of Earth Day and the remarkable progress being made toward a myriad sustainability solutions, the Walton Sustainability Solutions Initiatives at Arizona State University has launched a "Solution A Day" social media campaign, in the spirit of the Initiatives’ mission to engage a broad audience to celebrate those solutions.

"Our planet faces many challenges on daily basis, so it's important to develop, explore and share sustainability solutions and celebrate the innovative people behind them," said Jason Franz, Walton Sustainability Solutions Initiatives' Strategic Marketing and Communications Manager. "With Solution A Day, the ideas of collaboration and individual impact are shared through our time's most interactive portal — social media and sites like Facebook and Twitter. We are excited about the opportunities to engage all of the audiences that intersect with sustainability each day."

#SolutionADay will share the amazing sustainability solutions that we hear about every day — from ASU’s own scientists, practitioners and alumni, as well as by businesses, academic institutions, non-profits, cities and other innovators. Solutions will be communicated through Walton’s Facebook and Twitter channels using #SolutionADay and archived on the Walton Sustainability Solutions website.
